PDM community dance program provides free classes to inner city troubled youth. We enjoy building confidence, empowering, inspiring, and celebrating individual expression, and creativity through the form of dance. Our instructors are skilled at identifying the specific needs of each student. We believe in an enriching education and we recognize that every student has something to offer the arts and the arts has something to every student.
PDM was founded in January 2000 with the purpose of providing a positive dance program for troubled youth through. We offer gospel, flag, mime, and hip-hop style of dance. We service the Queens and Brooklyn underprivileged communities. The program is founded and operated under the guidance and direction of Trevi Pershay. The dance organization have encouraged, inspired, and uplifted over 500 youth between 2003 until this present date with dance, theater, empowerment, and outreach.
