PDM Performing Arts – a.k.a PDM Dancers – the program was implemented in January 2000 with only 5 youth inside of the church. The purpose of the dance program was to introduce youth to gospel hip-hop and liturgical dance. Dr. Trevi Booker-Pershay had to be open-minded and take the program out of the church and into the hood. Once the program entered the hood, the youth was drawn by the positive message and the hope through song that everything was going to be alright.

PDM Dance Program – is committed to providing a fertile training ground for inner-city youth and abilities, embracing non-traditional styles to inspire dancers to strive for technical excellence and their artistry through inspirational music.
